What I Am Up To
I am thinking about buying Alexa to create personalized skills. It is like creating your own robot’s head.
To create a new skill, you enter into Alexa app, choose a blueprint (like a template) and fill out the blanks as a text. Then you just ask Alexa for it!
For example, you can schedule weekly chores for every family member. Then the husband can just say: "Alexa, what are my chores for today?" - instead of asking you.
Or you can create a quiz for 1-4 players and upload it to Alexa. Alexa will remember your names, switch turns and ask each player a question while listing possible answers. Once the player answers, Alexa says if it was correct, gives points, counts total score and declares winner. Same thing with flashcards.
Apart of the personalized skills, it might be handy to ask Alexa to read something from Wikipedia or a book from Audible (other use cases).
Cultural Lens
I learned in Mexico to stuff sandwiches with potato chips. You should try it too!
Modern Workplace
Modern workplaces should operate in synchrony asynchronically.
In the same time zone or 12 hours apart, we need to optimize our communication and collaboration in order to efficiently run operations and advance the projects.
Most of the activities do not require an immediate action but rather a continuity.
UPSKILLING: Sharpen your writing skills while capturing concisely all relevant information on action items, deadlines, and deliverables.
